Oscar

Oscar loves being outdoors. He can’t resist the pull of a muddy puddle or pile of leaves, and he is happiest when he can play with sand, water or digging in his foster carer’s back garden. His foster carer describes him as a “fun-loving, cheeky little soul”.

Oscar is currently pre-verbal, but he is making progress with his words and will happily take his carer’s hand and show them what he wants. He is receiving support from Speech and Language Therapists and has started saying a few words. His favourite new words to say are “dig” and “ball”!

Oscar was removed from his birth family when he was just under one due to neglect at home. Since being in foster care he has thrived, but we will need adopters to accept uncertainties in how his early life experiences might affect him later on.

Age: 22 months
