Bentley

Bentley is described by his carers as a “little bundle of fun”. He enjoys interactive nursery rhymes such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Wind the Bobbin Up. He eats and sleeps well, and loves to snuggle next to his carer’s two dogs, Poppy and Rex. His giggle makes everyone smile.

Bentley sadly experienced significant neglect while with his birth parents. This has impacted his development, so is behind in meeting his milestones, small in stature and presents as younger than he is. His foster carer however describes him as “tenacious”, and says he’s determined to learn new skills such as feeding himself with a spoon or taking his first steps.

We are looking for a family who can welcome Bentley and give him the love, care and attention that he needs to thrive. They will need to accept the uncertainties around Bentley and his future development, and celebrate him for the wonderful little boy he is.
